Ruth Huang Xu is a multi-disciplinary creative who was born in China and grew up in Singapore.
Her recent explorations include the themes of memories and recollections, pain and healing, as well as the relationship between others and self. Her works are visual manifestations of how she perceives the surrounding world.
While she mostly delves into concepts and uses materials she personally connects to – partly influenced by her Chinese background – she believes in the universality of sentiments and emotions.
